What a Wonderfully Fun-filled weekend we had this Memorial one! Casey, me n all the kids including Shay, along with Brent, Christy n Avery Bassett all packed up and went camping out at Judd Creek! We had to find some missing cows, so we camped out there. What a GREAT weekend! We all just LoVe when Aunt Christy n Ave's comes with Uncle Bummy- there'll so soooo much FUN!!! We got there Friday night, n we ate Brats n tator salad- YUMMY! This was Shay's first Brat, n she is now a fan too. Saturday, we all woke up to Christy's delicious Cowboy Breakfast!, she made it in the dutch oven, and it was GOOD GOOD! Casey n Brent then headed out to find the missing cow's right below camp, all the while the kids where havin a fantastic time playin, ridin the four wheeler's- they really do loVe Judd Creek as much as there dad and uncle Bummy! Christy and Brent blew a tire on the way out, so me and Christy jumped in the truck and went into town to fix it. We took it to A&R tires- n we had time to kill while they were fixing it so we went to R C Staple's and just looked around, Aunt Christy snuck n bought Brystee a cute cute cute lil outfit! She is such a stinker- she ALWAY'S does such kind and sweet things, she alway's amazes me at how nice she is- we just loVe her! Then we went to IFA, n wouldn't ya know it they were havin a bar-b-que and a FABULOUS sale!!!! We had such a great time, n got such cute thing's, n got such fab dab ulous deal's! I was able to get my whole fam new coats for next to nothing n some way cute shirts not to mention some darling new boots all for such a screamin deal me n christy sure felt dang lucky!!! We had a GREAT time again! We then headed back to camp, the kids were playin hard! For dinner that night we had some of the Bassett Steak's and dutch oven tator's, corn on the cob n Christy delicious delicious peach crisp with cookie dough icecream- YUMMY!!!! I'm tellin ya when we are camping one thing is for sure we NEVER go hungry- we just loVe r food! That night me n the girl's had a good game of phase ten, it sure was fun- Kranberry wooped us! On Sunday me and Christy and all the Kidz packed a picnic, n loaded on the four wheeler's n headed out for a lil sunday stroll! Meanwhile the men had to find some more missing cow's! We had the best ride- we went over the top of Judd Creek and around the backside of Death Canyon- it was so BEAUTIFUL- wild flower's everywhere the grass as green as green n tall! What a great ride, we then picked a fun lil spot to noon, and at are picnic, the kids had a great time playin at the pond, Brystee had herself a lil snooze! Then we packed up n headed back to camp. We when got back we were gone for six hours! The boyz got back the same time as us, and we then decided that we all needed to go swimming at the swimming pool in the desert- the hot pot's! Christy passed out creamies, and we loaded up in the trailblazer n sckdaddle to the hotpot's! When we got there, there was one little family, n since there is three pools we filled up in two of them! The kid's loVed it! They loVe the hot pot's- the water temp was perfect n it felt so sooo good to wash all our hair! We all played n splashed for a little while then, a bunch of people on their four wheeler's showed up with the same great idea, so we decided it was time to bail, n let other's enjoy this lil luxury! We then loaded up and headed home!, just outside of the hotpot's we noticed a group of people standed in the road so we stopped n my lil kranberry jumped across the seat and I then rolled down the window and peaked out of it and right below my nose was the hugest, scariest, rattler ever! YIKES!!!!! It sure did scare the beegeezie's out of me! Then a mile up the road we ran into another rattler that wasn't quite as big, but still oh so SCARY!!! That's the one we got a picture of, sure wishen I got a pic of the big one!- but I was way to scared n way too close! After all that exciting drama we rocked out to the music and headed back to camp! For dinner that night we had homemade pizza, and chicken salad and crosiants, yummy queso and chips, watermelon- lot's of good stuff! We then decided to have a movie night so we put the tv on the table outside and watched Lonesome Dove, it sure was fun! The next morning we had chocolate dipped strawberries n muffin's n cereal for breakfast- Yum! Then the kids watched Avatar outside, played on the four wheeler, n Casey decided to tend while Bryor, Me, Christy, Bummy went for a lil horse ride- FABULOUS!!! It was sure fun! n much appreciated! Then when we got back to camp we let the kids play longer then packed up camp n much to are dismay headed home- We had a GREAT Memorial Day!, probably one of the funnest times yet, I'm so Grateful n Happy that Bummy n Christy, n my lil princess Ave's came and celebrated with us- we sure do LoVe you guy's! These are memories that we won't EVER forget!!!!!! I sure so LoVe my family!!!!!
